We talk regularly on Skyp, and we observed a good improvement in the Skyp transmissions compared to his older pc. The only negative so far is that the HP monitor that came with it was "dead on arrival". The monitor was replaced beneath warranty and now the system seems extremely satisfactory.

I like the new Windows 7 that was pre-installed on the pc but it will take some obtaining utilized to. This computer came with 4GB ram and 640GB hard-drive. I thought that will all the ram it would run quicker but the loading time between websites appears a bit long. Nevertheless, after having this for only 24 hours so far, I believe that it is a great computer for the cash. The only con that I've will be the CD drive. It is somewhat challenging to insert a CD. You can turn the computer on its side for much better use but the fan vents would be on top and a lot of dust may develop up.

I was searching for a new computer for the family that was not the cheapest but good quality. With this computer I believe I found what meets our needs. It included a good high quality graphics card for my gamer husband, en ought memory to load internet websites with a good speed, and Ethernet included to connect to our cable modem. I love the Toshiba satellite line. They are simply the most economical, with the least repair rate, and the most computer. Bought this system for my in-laws @ Xmas who are in love. I love this laptop, I had to replace my old Dell Inspiron 6000. This one's so much faster, it's got a decent video card (not hardcore for gamers but enough to watch media with real well and even can handle some top divx10 games with really low fps in the low setting), which is why I chose this laptop over a bit faster intel pentium's out with a bit smaller screen for around the same price range. The bonus for this satellite, for me, was the video card along with the extra wide 17.3'' screen. It's pretty stylish and very lightweight too, even smaller then my old inspiron.

The screen on this netbook is 11.6 inches which is about 1.5 inches larger than most netbooks. Three USB ports are enough for most applications.

The only problem I've is discovering a sleeve for it at nearby pc stores (larger screen size). All about I'm extremely satisfied and I adore the red color too. I've suggested it to friends already.

This is an after-the-fact review since this is not in stock anymore and may not be again. I bought this Gateway 11.6" netbook last Christmas for my son but I use it as often as he does. I was able to get this very cheaply using the dogged Windows Vista; I chosen this because it came having a free Windows 7 upgrade when it was release a couple of months later. During the upgrade, I got rid of all of the junk-ware that came pre-installed, and now it's a screamer. The biggest surprise to me is its blazing BLAZING blazing speed. Video high quality is Amazing, it's able to play full HD films by way of HDMI without a single hiccup.

I bought this laptop about a month ago now. I thought is was a really reasonable price compared to other laptops with the exact same specs. It arrived in perfect condition. Functions great so far, there was lots of ASUS software that I would by no means use, so I removed it; freed up fairly a bit of space. I have observed that although on the charger, whenever you have the laptop to stay on for much more than an hour and it goes idle, sometimes the cursor will be extremely jumpy for about a min whenever you begin to make use of it again.

I bought this laptop a few months ago because I required a pc that could stream video for one of my classes this semester. I also like to play the sims and roller coaster tycoon. This pc has been great. I have had no problems with it at all. It's very quick and every thing works fantastic. My old desktop had half the memory. This pc has no trouble running any of my games or streaming my videos for class. I got it for a bit less expensive than this price at greatest purchase. I would certainly suggest this laptop to anyone not thinking about utilizing it for heavy gaming. It doesn't have any crazy features. It's just a good pc that works.
